VCC, Inc.Project Completion Date:
Designed to be more than a mere movie theater, the Santikos Palladium AVX would be a truly upscale entertainment complex. The Palladium would include a bowling alley, IMAX screens, a sports bar, a videogame arcade and two restaurants – all under one (very large) roof.
While the initial timeline for the project was 14 months, the scale of the facility and numerous design changes stretched construction out to more than two years. During that time, several subcontractors abandoned the project or went out of business altogether.
However, JBI stayed in the trenches and coordinated with VCC, the general contractor, to complete all electrical work. Since its debut in 2014, Santikos Palladium AVX has welcomed tens of thousands of moviegoers and is considered one of the premier theater venues in the Houston area.
